Shane Beamer discusses his hiring of Shawn Elliott during a SportsTalk pop-in (AUDIO) #Gamecocks

Shane Beamer has been busy this offseason and not just on the recruiting trail. The head football coach at USC has also retooled his offensive coaching staff. Another change was announced today as former Georgia State head coach Shawn Elliott was given a three-year contract to be the run game coordinator and tight ends coach for the Gamecocks.

Hours later, Beamer was in Myrtle Beach for the South Carolina Football Coaches Association annual clinic, with college and high school coaches from across the state in attendance. SportsTalk was also there, and Beamer was kind enough to sit down with us to discuss his team and the notable changes he’s made to his coaching staff.
