There was a lot of work to be done this spring on the South Carolina offensive line. The group struggled during last season’s 5-7 campaign. The running game only produced 85 yards per game, and quarterbacks were sacked 41 times.
Not all of those types of issues can be blamed on the offensive line, but most of them can. There were injuries, and there was inexperience. Second year OL coach Lonnie Teasley knows it’s his job to correct those issues, and with several linemen returning from last season, plus an influx of new talent from the high school ranks and the Transfer Portal, Teasley believes his group on the way to a better season.
Teasley met with the media Thursday to update the progress of his guys.
