#Gamecocks defensive players sing the praises of the new staff, the new players and the new schemes (AUDIO)

Gamecock defenders feeling good about the direction they are moving (Gamecock Athletics)

The USC football team has paused on the field spring practice activities this week. Those will resume on Monday and will run thru April 24th when the spring game is played. Wednesday a mix of old and new defensive players met with the media via Zoom. The older guys like Jabari Ellis and Zacch Pickens could compare the present to the past, and the new guys, like Deebo Williams and Jordan Strachan, could share their excitement about being with the Gamecocks and in the SEC.
