Former #Gamecocks WR Xavier Legette talks next week’s NFL Draft on SportsTalk (AUDIO)

Mullins native Xavier Legette had a break out season for South Carolina in 2023 with 71 catches for 1255 yards and seven touchdowns. He averaged nearly 18 yards per catch. He was also dangerous in the kick return game.

Legette was named the College Football Player of the Year in South Carolina by the South Carolina Football Hall of Fame, and Thursday night in Greenville he received the Blanchard-Rogers Trophy during Hall’s induction ceremonies for its 2023 class.

One week from Thursday night, Legette hopes to hear his named called out in the first round of the NFL Draft. He has visited over a dozen different teams, and may more continue to contact him.
