South Carolina added more talent to their tight end room through the Transfer Portal with the acquisition of Brady Hunt (6-6 250) from Ball State. The native of Muncie, IN has had quite the football journey. He was a quarterback in high school where he passed for 3800 yards and 47 touchdowns.
He moved to tight end as a freshman at Ball State and redshirted. In 2022, he emerged as a player at tight end with 46 catches for 498 yards and five touchdowns. Hunt went into the 2023 season on the Mackey Award Watch List, but he missed the season with an ankle injury.
Hunt decided to transfer and landed at USC with a healthy ankle and confident attitude. He recently sat down with SportsTalk to discuss his football career and his new life as a Gamecock.
