South Carolina announced the signing of 6-8 Elijah Strong as a transfer from Boston College.

DE Carter Meadows (6-6 215) of Washington, DC visited South Carolina on Thursday. This spring he has also visited Stanford, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, Northwestern and North Carolina. He has an official visit set with Michigan for June 20th.
DT PJ Dean (6-5 255) of Clemmons, NC visited South Carolina Thursday. Dean has USC, Ohio State and and Georgia as his top three. He visited Ohio State last Friday. He also visited USC for a bowl practice last December. He has official visits set with USC May 30th and Georgia June 6th. His brother was an offensive lineman at Georgia.
Wes Mitchell of Gamecock Central reported Thursday night that RB Carsyn Baker of Fairburn, GA will visit USC again Friday for the spring game. Baker last visited the Gamecocks in January. He was also in for a couple of games last season. This spring he has been to Ohio State, Georgia, Florida State and Clemson. He has official visits set with Clemson, Florida State, Ohio State and Texas A&M. Baker named a final five of USC, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State and Florida State in early April.

2027 OT Kyson Mallard (6-7 320) of Albany, GA plans to visit South Carolina Friday for the spring game.

6-3 MTSU transfer Jlynn Counter is transferring to the College of Charleston. He averaged 10.5 points per game this season.
Charleston Southern lands 6-8 Georgia Southern transfer Nate Brafford and 7-0 Sienna transfer Devin Brafford.
Duke transfer 5-10 Oluchi Okananwa, who was mentioned with South Carolina, is headed to Maryland.
