Missouri Tigers key players:

Quarterback Austin Simmons: The transfer from Ole Miss gets a fresh start after losing his job with the Rebels due to an injury. He threw for over 1000 yards in two seasons in Oxford.

Running Back Ahmad Hardy: Led the SEC in rushing last season with 1649 yards and 16 touchdowns, but suffered gunshot wounds to his leg in May. He’s been fully cleared and is expected to need 5-8 weeks to be ready to play again.

Linebacker Robert Woodyard Jr: The Auburn transfer will give much-needed help to a defense that returns only two of its top 13 players from last season. He had 67 tackles with two sacks and five pass deflections last season.
