Florida Gators top players:

Quarterbacks Aaron Philo & Tramell Jones: The quarterback situation remains unsettled as preseason practice gets underway. Philo is a transfer from Georgia Tech, where he worked under the Gators’ new offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner. He played in three games last season and five games in 2024. He passed for 373 yards in a win over Gardner-Webb last season. Jones played in two games last season and passed for 191 yards and two touchdowns.

Running Back Jaden Baugh: He was a workhorse last season with 220 carries for 1170 yards and eight touchdowns, and he also had 31 catches for 185 yards and two scores. He earned Second Team All-SEC honors.

Strong Safety Bryce Thornton: Has played in 33 games in his career and has 131 tackles with four interceptions and 14 pass deflections.
