2028 3B Ivan Andino of Charlotte committed to South Carolina. He’s the third public commitment for the class. Perfect Game had this scouting report on Andino from a showcase earlier this year: “Broad-shouldered athletic build with good present strength and more to come. Ran a 6.57 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, even base, high hands, loose and easy swing, impact ability and projects for more, turns it over well, relaxed and controlled round, lots to like on the offensive end with projection in both the hit and power tools. Primary infielder, good hands out front, easy release, hands work well, very smooth round, throws carry. Outfielder, works through it with a one-hand gather, good arm strength with low lines, accurate, clean mover.”

LHP Elijah Flatt of P27 Academy committed to The Citadel.

2028 CB Mikhie Cruickshank (5-10 178) of Fayetteville, NC was offered by South Carolina. He also has offers from Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, and Tennessee.
