CB Kelvin Millington (6-4 185) of Bogart, GA, will make his commitment announcement Thursday afternoon at the Opening Finals at NIKE headquarters in Beaverton, OR. Millington’s announcement is one of several being orchestrated by 247Sports on Thursday. While Texas Tech and Virginia Tech will be linked to Millington during the broadcast, his only official visit was to South Carolina, and the expectation is that he will announce for the Gamecocks. Millington took his official visit to USC on June 5th. He also visited for a recruiting event in May after being offered by secondary coach Torrian Gray in April. Last season, Millington 62 tackles with 14 pass breakups and three interceptions.

Also scheduled to make his commitment announcement at The Opening Finals on Thursday is one-time Clemson target LB Sean Fox of Indianapolis. 247Sports will show Clemson, Georgia, and Kentucky as the finalists for Fox, but it was reported by Paul Strelow of TigerIllustrated about two weeks ago that after Clemson looked like the favorite, Kentucky made a strong pitch and is now the likely choice.

Clemson target 2028 LB Jay Schell of Rabun Gap, GA, was offered by Arkansas and Mississippi State.

South Carolina target 2028 CB Zion Dobson was offered by Tennessee.
