South Carolina football coach Shane Beamer recently lost a pair of commitments from his 2027 class, leaving him with just two. But on Saturday, Beamer added a third as he announced on his X account that while attending a Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley Field, he received a call from a 2027 prospect, and a commitment was taken. The prospect has not yet gone public with his commitment, so who could it be?

- OT Nate Carson (USC and several others, with Tennessee the current favorite, but not announcing until July 3rd)

- CB Davion Jones (USC, LSU, Georgia, Auburn)
- DE Abraham Sesay (USC and several others)
- DE Seth Tillman (USC, Clemson, Nebraska, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee)
- RB Aiden Gibson (USC and several others)
- DT Jesiah Fields (USC, Georgia Tech, Rutgers, Louisville, Maryland)
- CB Joshua Dobson (USC and several others with LSU considered the favorite)
- WR Brody Knowles (USC and several others)
- TE Judah Lancaster (USC and several others)
- DE Desmond Malpress (USC and Georgia Tech top two)
Clemson offered TE Carter Blackwell (6-4 225) of Leesburg, GA. He was offered in March by South Carolina. He has an official visits set with Duke, Florida State and North Carolina. He also has offers from West Virginia, Wisconsin, Maryland, Kansas State, Colorado, UCF, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Pitt, Coastal Carolina and others.
Clemson target OL Jimmy Kalis committed to Ohio State on Friday.
Clemson target OL Carter Jones is making his official visit to Georgia this weekend.
Clemson coaches were in to see WR Nick Gordon of Cheraw.
CB Brandon Allen of Atlanta will take official visits to USC May 1st, Virginia Tech May 29th, Vanderbilt June 5th, Georgia Tech June 9th, Florida State June 12tlh, and Mississippi State June 91th. He’s been committed to the Bulldogs since last September.
South Carolina target CB Kelvin Millington was offered by Virginia Tech.
WR Amare Patterson of Ridgeland/Bluffton visited LSU on Friday.
2029 RB Brayden Boults of Crestwood was offered by Georgia Tech.
