STRecruiting Notebook 10-1: USC in final 12 with Florida DE; Joshua Dobson drops a dozen top schools

2027 DE Santana Harvey (6-4 235) of Lakeland, FL named a top nine of South Carolina, SMU, Georgia, Notre Dame, Texas Tech, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Oklahoma and Texas A&M. Last season he had 8.5 sacks and 16.5 tackles for loss.

2027 CB Joshua Dobson of Catawba Ridge named a top 12 of Clemson, South Carolina, LSU, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Penn State, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Florida State.

2027 Irmo OT Nate Carson was offered by Maryland.

2027 Byrnes RB David Segarra was offered by Michigan. He visited South Carolina last Saturday and is scheduled to visit Florida this Saturday.

2027 DE Jaden Wuerth of Dutch Fork visited NC State on Saturday and was offered by the Wolfpack.

2028 LB Skylar Alston (6-2 215) of Raleigh was offered by South Carolina. He was in for a visit Saturday night.

South Carolina RB commitment Amari Thomas plans to visit Florida State this Saturday.

Clemson target 2027 LB Kaden Henderson of Tampa plans to visit Florida State this Saturday.

2027 OG/C Jayden Dean of Miami, who drew interest from Clemson and visited for the LSU game, did not include the Tigers on the list of schools he is focusing on. Those are Oklahoma, Oregon, Michigan, Florida State, Nebraska, Louisville, Ohio State, Kentucky, Syracuse, USF, Mississippi State and West Virginia.

Per John Whittle of TheBigSpur, 6-10 William Stevens of Lake Norman, NC has canceled his official visit to South Carolina for this coming weekend. Stevens has visited Clemson and St. Mary’s, and was scheduled to visit Vanderbilt last weekend.

6-2 McKenna Woliczko of San Jose, CA will announce her commitment on Wednesday afternoon. She’s down to South Carolina, Iowa, Southern Cal and Ohio State.

5-9 Somto Okafor of Spain made an official visit to South Carolina last weekend along with 6-4 Kelsi Andrews of IMG Academy.

2027 OF/P/1B Jax Haynes of Charlotte committed to South Carolina.

2027 3B Christian Spivey of Lexington announced a commitment to South Carolina.
