Kyle Larson is hoping this throwback paint scheme is “GRRREAT” next weekend in Darlington (AUDIO)

Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson loves Darlington and clearly understands the tradition of the “Track Too Tough to Tame.” His throwback paint scheme for next weekend’s Goodyear 400 reflects that love of history.

“I’m happy that our team takes it serious,” Larson said of throwback weekend at Darlington. “You get a lot of media hits from it and a lot of eyes on your team that week. We’ve had some really cool throwbacks in my time, and even before I got to Hendrick, they always had some good ones.”

Larson and Labonte were both in Darlington on Wednesday to unveil the car and chat with members of the media.
