Gary Gilmore’s achievements include over 1,100 victories, five seasons with more than fifty wins, and one national championship. That’s just a portion of the legacy that is imprinted upon the Coastal Carolina baseball program.
No one knows that any better than Kevin Schnall. Gilly’s right-hand man for a good portion of the last decade, Schnall is now the head coach of the Chanticleers. And he seems quite ready to fill the shoes of his longtime mentor.
The 1999 Big South “Player of the Year” joined SportsTalk on Tuesday night to chat about taking over the reins of the CCU program and to preview the start of the baseball season.
