Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney held a conference call following Saturday’s 17-10 loss to LSU. Clemson was outrushed 108-31 and failed to score in the second half. Swinney focused on the lack of offensive rhythm, critical mistakes and Cade Klubnik’s below-average performance as major factors.

- Didn’t give RB Adam Randall enough opportunities. Couldn’t get into rhythm and we need to do that to get him more carries
- Swinney declines to comment on WR Antonio Williams’ injury and said he’ll know more later in the week
- On O-Line: Nobody was perfect on the offensive side. Got edged on some of their pressures, not good enough to win the game but not terrible
- Klubnik didn’t play well. There was plenty there but he got rattled. Left the pocket when he didn’t need to and putting his eyes on the right things. He will respond, I promise you
- On getting away from the run game: A lot of it is making better decisions to extend drives to build a rhythm. We also have to call it and stay committed (to the run)
- Too many mistakes, critical penalties and Cade Klubnik did not play well. These games come down to making routine plays and he missed some of those. Good news is we know he’s capable of playing much better
