Clemson has its official ACC basketball schedule for 2027 with no North Carolina on the docket for the first time in 75 years, and no West Coast trip this season

Release from Clemson:

The Atlantic Coast Conference released its league-wide schedule Wednesday, with network and timing designations to be determined. Clemson previously announced its non-conference schedule, and the full 2026-27 slate can be viewed in its entirety HERE.

The top 15 teams in the final league standings will play in the 2027 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament, played March 9-13 at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C.

Clemson opens at home against Virginia on Tuesday, Dec. 29. The Tigers host Virginia, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Duke, California, Syracuse, Stanford and Notre Dame.

This season will mark the first time Clemson and North Carolina will not play since the 1950-51 season.

This marks the second season of the ACC’s 18-game league schedule format. The matchups for the 2026-27 schedule were announced on May 28. Each team will play one primary partner both home and away as well as one variable partner home and away. The variable partner will be determined each season. Teams will play one game, home or away, against 14 of the remaining 15 teams annually.
