Cade Klubnik has turned some eyes in New York Jets training camp thus far, as the fourth-round selection led his team on scoring drives against Tampa Bay, stepping in for the injured Geno Smith. Now, his protégé is hoping he can do the same with the Clemson Tigers.

Christopher Vizzina appears to be on track to take over the starting role under center as the Tigers open the season at LSU in a couple of weeks. It’s a moment for which he has been preparing his entire life.

“There’s a lot of people who have dreamed of being a quarterback here, and it’s my dream.”

Vizzina met with the media on Tuesday and exuded confidence in his ability along with his teammates as they continue working through fall camp in the Upstate.
