Clemson defensive end Jahiem Lawson is a true football player who clearly loves the game. The Daniel High School product met with the media on Wednesday to recap the Tigers’ first day in full pads. As he recapped the workout, Lawson seemed giddy about the next step in preseason camp.
“It was amazing,” Lawson exclaimed. “I was like happy just to get back out there. I’m just glad we’re back at it. Glad we’re doing what we love to do.”
The padded practice was a tune-up for the Tigers’ first scrimmage on Saturday as Clemson continues to prepare for its season opener at LSU on September 5th.
