Clemson baseball coach Erik Bakich is ready to wipe the slate clean from the 2026 season and move on. For the first time, Bakich failed to get the Tigers into the NCAA Tournament, and besides rebuilding his roster this offseason, Bakich did a deep dive into his performance and determined he needed to change some things.
Bakich addressed those issues on SportsTalk Friday night. He also shared that the Tigers will play four exhibition games this fall…Coastal Carolina and East Carolina in Conway, and two games with Georgia Tech.
The Tigers will open the season in Arlington, TX, in the Shriners Children’s College Showdown at Globe Life Field with games against Texas, Oklahoma and Arizona. He added that the USC series will open at Doug Kingsmore Stadium, with the neutral site game at Fluor Field in Greenville, before wrapping up at Founders Park in Columbia.
