It remains to be seen the impact OT Neff Giwa (6-8 300) of Ireland will have on the South Carolina offensive line, but the Gamecocks will no doubt look even more impressive with him coming off the bus.

Giwa committed to the Gamecocks on Sunday based on information released to the media by his coach, Brandon Collier, who operates an organization that helps to place international football prospects in American colleges.

Earlier this month, Collier brought a group of his clients through the Southeast with stops at USC and Clemson included. It was Giwa’s second visit with the Gamecocks, and they offered him. The Tigers did not. Giwa also posted on his social media that he had received offers from North Carolina, Tennessee, SMU, Miami, and James Madison. His visits also took him to Georgia and Michigan State.

The offers to Giwa were definitely based on potential because he’s never played organized football/. He’s been a rugby player, but he has the measurables and skills, according to Collier, to be an NFL first-round draft pick.

Whoever signs Neff Giwa is getting a 1st round pick in three years!. He is a big, big human with great feet and physicality,” Collier posted on his X account. “Big man is a walking 1st round pick. Neff Giwa is special! Big Neff is going to blow up. This kid is going places. This kid is 6’8 300lbs, 37 inch arms, and a mean, mean guy on the field. Someone has a walking 1st rounder.”

Giwa plans to sign right away with the Gamecocks and join them in May or June for summer workouts. He is the 14th offensive lineman signed for the 2026 class between high school, junior college, and free agent prospects.
