#STRecruiting Notebook 4-19

Where does South Carolina stand with OT David Sanders of Charlotte? The Gamecocks should know a lot more about that after this weekend. They get the first official visit with Sanders and his family this weekend, and they will be exposed to practically everything the Gamecocks have to offer. The setting for the Garnet & Black Spring Game will afford Shane Beamer and his staff the opportunity to roll out a gameday like atmosphere for Sanders, something he will not find on his other official visits. Sanders has seen that atmosphere at USC before. He was in for a game in November. The national pundits have the Gamecocks trailing in the competition for Sanders. Most have Clemson and George pegged as the front runners at this point. He is scheduled for his official visit to Clemson May 31st followed by stops to Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Ohio State.
