The Transfer Portal doesn’t officially open until December 4th, but more and more players are moving forward and putting their transfer plans out on social media. USC is showing interest in Harvard transfer TE Tyler Neville (6-4 248) who had 62 catches for 698 yards and 8 TDs in his career. He’s picked up offers from Virginia and BC since announcing his transfer.
USC showing interest in Penn transfer DT Joey Slackman (6-4 300) as staff members are followers on X. He’s received nearly 20 P5 offers since announcing transfer. He’s a native of Philadelphia and was all Ivy League this season. In his career he had 115 tackles, 25 tackles for loss and 11 sacks.
Holy Cross OT Luke Newman (6-4 310) has entered the Transfer Portal and is being eyed by USC. He’s a native of Bloomingfield, MI and was three-time All-Patriot League first team.
South Carolina coaches were hoping top running back target Daniel Hill of Meridian, MS would visit for the Clemson game Saturday, but he stayed in Atlanta with his family on a holiday visit. He did not make it to a game in Columbia this season. WR Braylon Staley of Strom Thurmond, a Tennessee commitment also being pursued by the Gamecocks, also did not make it to Columbia Saturday.
USC and Clemson appear to have some interest in OT Alan Herron (6-6 310), a transfer from Shorter University and a native of Jamaica.

Clemson target OT AJ Dennis of Mount Pleasant, MI committed to Illinois. He visited over the weekend after visiting Clemson the previous weekend. He’s a former Michigan State commitment. He also officialed to Penn State.
USC Saturday offered 2025 DE Anthony Addison (6-3 215) of Sumter. This season he had 96 tackles with 25 tackles for loss and six sacks. He also visited Tennessee and Cincinnati for games this month. Some of his other offers are Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, Appalachian State, USF, Liberty and Old Dominion.
USC Sunday offered 2025 OT Jacobe Ward (6-4 335) of Benedictine Academy in Savannah. Some of his other offers are NC State, Missouri, Colorado, Tennessee, Alabama, Virginia Tech, Arkansas, Coastal Carolina, Auburn and LSU.
USC target DT Jerome Simmons was offered by Western Kentucky.
ATH Jaiden Kimble of White Knoll received a PWO offer from USC.
Former Clemson TE Jaelyn Lay is in the Transfer Portal again after a season at Alabama State.
USC target CB Kam Mikell committed to Colorado.
