#STRecruiting Notebook 5-1

Clemson is in the top five with OT Fletcher Westphal (6-8 330) of Leesburg, VA. The others are Georgia, Auburn, Arkansas and Florida. Westphal visited all of his finalists over the spring. The Clemson visit was April 5th. He also visited Clemson twice in 2022 including for a game in October. Westphal cut his list down from ten. Those not advancing with him were Tennessee, Washington, Oregon, Michigan and Virginia Tech.

Clemson is in the final 10 with OT Jameson Riggs (6-5 280) of Hiram, GA. The others are Ohio State, Georgia Tech, Duke, Southern Cal, LSU, Auburn, Penn State, Vanderbilt and Tennessee. He visited Clemson for two games last season, and he was in for junior days January 28th and March 4th.

Clemson and USC made the top 11 with CB Jalyn Crawford of Lilburn, GA. The others are LSU, North Carolina, Texas, A&M, Louisville, Florida, Miami, Georgia Tech, Tennessee and Auburn.

USC is in the top seven with WR Channing Goodwin of Charlotte. The others are North Carolina, Michigan, NC State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

DE Jordan Thomas of Ramsey, NJ has set and official visit with USC for June 23rd. He also has visits down with Rutgers, Georgia and Michigan.

LB Steven Soles of Powell, TN said Sunday night he has scheduled an official visit to USC for June 2nd. He also visited the Gamecocks for their spring game in April.

QB Luke Moga of Phoenix, who was drawing some Clemson interest, committed to Oregon. Garrett Riley offered him while at TCU.

SAF KJ Bolden of Buford, GA said Sunday night the only official visit he has set at this point is to Ohio State June 16th. He is considering visiting Clemson for their lone official visit weekend in June, which is the first weekend of the month.

Clemson target CB Omillio Agard of Philadelphia was offered by Oklahoma.

USC target DE Dylan Stewart visited Oregon over the weekend. Gamecock coaches are scheduled to be by his school this week.

USC target Florida State transfer DE Derrick McLendon is headed to Colorado. He made an official visit with the Gamecocks.

OT Jac’Qawn McRoy of Pinson, AL, who had a Clemson offer and visited in March, has set official visits with Ole Miss, Arkansas, Kentucky and Oregon in June. He also visited Auburn, Ole Miss and Kentucky this spring.

OT Eagan Boyer of Cornelius, NC, who had an offer from Clemson among others, committed to Penn State.

USC offered LB Elijah Newby (6-3 210) of Cheshire, CT, 2025 DE Taeshawn Alston (6-4 205) of Henderson, NC and 2026 OT Thomas Wilder (6-5 280) of Virginia Beach. Newby’s offers also include Virginia, Michigan, Penn State, Nebraska, Duke, West Virginia, Pitt, Louisville and Utah.

USC target 2025 OT Nick Brooks (6-8 345) of Cedar Rapids, IA, formerly Buford, GA, decided not to announce a commitment today. He visited USC in March and has the Gamecocks in his top 10 with Iowa, Iowa State, Florida, Penn State, Texas, Alabama, Florida State, LSU and Tennessee.

OL Cambell Vandiver (6-7 275) of Brentwood, TN announced he had accepted a PWO offer from USC.

Daniel OL Watson Young, son of former Clemson OL and current administrator Kyle Young, was offered by Appalachian State.

2025 QB AJ Brand of Irmo was offered by The Citadel.

Former Clemson CB Malcolm Greene announced his transfer to Virginia.

Former First Baptist WR Sincere Brown is transferring from USF to Campbell.

Former TL Hanna DT Stephon Wynn on the move again. He went from Hanna to IMG Academy to Alabama to Nebraska and is now back in the Transfer Portal.

Former USC reserve OL Colin Henrich was offered by Georgia State and Marshall.

Clemson walk-on PK Liam Boyd, who was competing for the starting job, is transferring.

Syracuse transfer guard Joe Girard has narrowed his decision to Clemson and LSU.

6-3 Rowan Irelan of Lucy Beckham committed to The Citadel.

Lafayette PG CJ Fulton is transferring to College of Charleston per Jeff Goodman of Stadium.

6-3 Kobe Rodgers is transferring to the College of Charleston from Nova Southeastern. He averaged 13 points per game last season for the team that won the D2 national championship.

Guard Jaiden Thompson of Concord, NC committed to Charleston Southern.

The USC women offered 2025 6-1 Jazzy Davidson of Clackamas, OR, 2026 6-1 Jayla Jordyn Jackson of Washington, DC and 2026 6-2 Brihanna Crittendon of Denver.

Offers continue to come in for 6-4 Clemson and USC target Austin Swartz with Texas A&M the latest.

Former Charleston Southern guard Tahlik Chavez is transferring to Louisiana Tech.
