Greenville High WR Tyler Brown (6-0 180) has played this season in the shadow of his more heralded teammate 2024 WR Mazeo Bennett, a Tennessee commitment. But Brown is carving out his own reputation this season as the Red Raiders have reached the third round of the playoffs. His reputation in recruiting circles is also on the rise. Saturday Brown, a former Minnesota commitment, picked up his biggest offer yet from Clemson. Tigers receivers coach Tyler Grisham started to recruit Brown in earnest a few weeks ago. He was in for a recent game and the relationship has now reached the point of an offer. Brown also picked up recent offers from Northwestern and Georgia Tech. He’s also been offered by Eastern Michigan, East Carolina, Coastal Carolina, Louisville, Virginia Tech and Appalachian State among others. Brown has also visited Virginia Tech for a game this season. On the season thru 12 games, Brown has 45 catches for 793 yards and 12 touchdowns according to MaxPreps. For his career, he has 134 catches for 2357 yards and 32 touchdowns.
