The Wofford College baseball team had an incredible season. With 42 wins and a Southern Conference regular season championship, the Terriers assumed they had done enough to be included in the NCAA baseball tournament when the field was announced on Monday. Unfortunately for them, they were wrong. After losing to UNCG in the SoCon tournament finals, Wofford was left on the outside looking in at this week’s tournament.
On Tuesday, head coach Todd Interdonato joined SportsTalk to discuss his team’s disappointment in missing out on the postseason, while laying out the reasons he believes the Terriers should have made the field.
