One of USC’s top targets is set to announce his college decision on Sunday. SAF Zabhari Sandy (6-1 204) of Washington, DC has the Gamecocks, West Virginia, Maryland, Tennessee and Ole Miss as his finalists. He visited all of the schools unofficially this spring with his USC visit coming on April 13th. He also visited USC last season for the Clemson game. He had over 50 tackles and three interceptions last season.

USC offered LB Justin Jefferson (6-3 210) of Pearl River JC, MS. He’s a native of Memphis. Last season he had 53 tackles and 3 sacks in 9 games. He has one more season to spend at the junior college. Jefferson reported several other offers coming in on Friday including Florida, Colorado State, Arkansas State and Virginia Tech. He also has offers from ULM, Charlotte, Jacksonville State and ULL.

Other recent offers handed out by USC were OT Stanton Ramil (6-7 310) of Alabaster, AL and 2024 WR Dwight Phillips (6-0 180) of Mableton, GA

Clemson and USC target WR Noah Rogers was offered by Mississippi State.

Clemson target TE Jelani Thurman was offered by Southern Cal.

Oklahoma offered Clemson commitment TE Reid Mikeska.

USC target WR Davion Dozier was offered by Arkansas.

USC target OT Paul Mubenga was offered by Virginia Tech.

Dorman OL Markee Anderson was offered by Ole Miss.

Another USC basketball transfer target has come off the board. Friday night 6-10 UCF transfer Jamille Reynolds announced a commitment to Temple after wrapping up an official visit in Philadelphia. He had narrowed his list to the Owls and Gamecocks with plans to visit both, but apparently did not make it to Columbia.

But the Gamecocks had another big man in town Friday. John Whittle of TheBigSpur reported 6-8 Illinois transfer Benjamin Bosmans-Verdonk was on an official visit with USC. He’s a native of Belgium who spent three years with the Illini. In 42 games he averaged 1.3 points and 1.6 rebounds per game. Other programs who reportedly have reached out to Bosmans-Verdonk include Stanford, SMU, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Virginia Tech and Arizona State.

Wofford signed high schoolers 6-5 Chase Martin of Jenks, OK and 6-7 Amarri Tice of Newburgh, NY.

Former USC guard Jermaine Couisnard is headed to Oregon.

Coastal Carolina transfer guard Rudy Williams plans to announce his new school Saturday.
