Per his coach at Ridge View Yerrick Stoneman, there will be no decision this week or next week from 2023 6-10 GG Jackson. Jackson is going to Orlando Friday for an AAU event. Next week is spring break. Stoneman believes USC coach Lamont Paris talked by phone with Jackson’s mother Tuesday. The Gamecocks, Duke, North Carolina, Auburn and Georgetown are the top schools with Jackson, and he’s also considering the G League. Stoneman said in his opinion, at this point, he does not believe Jackson will take any more visits. He has visited all of his top schools except for Auburn.
Senior guard 5-9 Kierra Fletcher announced Wednesday she will transfer from Georgia Tech to the USC women. Two seasons ago she averaged 13 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4 assists per game. She missed this season with a foot injury. She was a four-year starter for the Yellow Jackets.
According to Justin Byerly of HoopSeen, former Gray Collegiate standout Juwan Gary of Alabama is in the transfer portal and has heard from USC and Clemson among many others.
Clemson coach Dabo Swinney apparently is dropping his stance against official visits in the summer. Paul Strelow of TigerIllustrated reported OT Harris Sewell of Odessa, TX and CB Braxton Myers of Coppell, TX have set officials with the Tigers for June 3rd.
