Clemson ran its record to 13-0 with a 9-6 victory over Northeastern at Doug Kingsmore Stadium, Friday. The 18th-ranked Tigers were locked in a 2-2 tie before exploding for a five-run fifth inning. Cooper Ingle extended his hitting streak to 13 games with an RBI single and Max Wagner hit a two-run homer as part of the fifth-inning assault. Jonathan French went deep an inning later, his third of the season, and Dylan Brewer rapped out three hits and scored a pair of runs. Mack Anglin (3-0, 1.71) earned the win.

Game 2 of the series is scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, followed by Game 3 at noon, Sunday.
