22nd ranked Coastal Carolina scored touchdowns on their first four possessions and never took the foot off the gas in a 52-14 win over The Citadel Thursday night in front of an announced crowd of 16,236 at Brooks Stadium, second largest crowd in stadium history. Shemari Jones and Reese White each ran for two touchdowns, and Grayson McCall passed for 262 yards and another score.

Coastal totaled 610 yards on the night to 237 for the Bulldogs. Jones rushed for 100 yards, part of a 262-yard rushing performance by the Chanticleers. Jason Heiligh was targeted 7 times and caught 6 passes for 133 yards and 1 touchdown.
