#STRecruiting Notebook 7-30 (UPDATED Friday afternoon)

LB Jaren Kanak (6-2 210) of Hays, KA plans to announce his college decision Friday night at 8:00 PM Eastern. Kanak visited Clemson in early June for a camp where he worked out for Brent Venables and Dabo Swinney and earned an offer from the Tigers. Also, in June he took official visits took official visits to Michigan and Alabama and unofficial visits to Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida and Nebraska. Kanak is rated a four-star in the 247Sports Composite and ranked the #10 ATH nationally in his class and the #1 prospect in Kansas. Kanak also is a track standout and has recorded a laser-timed 100 meters of 10.37 seconds.

One time USC target CB Trequon Fegans of Alabaster, AL committed to Miami. He made official visits to USC and Miami in June.

ATH Deuce Spurlock (6-2 200) of Madison, AL visited Clemson Thursday. He also visited Clemson June 14th and participated in camp. The Tigers have not yet offered. Spurlock is rated a three-star in the 247Sports Composite and ranked 102nd nationally among athletes. His offers include Michigan, Appalachian State, Syracuse, Pitt, Liberty, Boston College and Mississippi State. He has named a top five of Michigan, Mississippi State, Pitt, Liberty and Appalachian State. In June he took an official visit to Pitt and also visited Boston College and Arkansas State.

2023 TE Luke Hasz (6-3 220) of Bixby, OK arrive at Clemson Thursday for a visit. He’s rated the #1 tight end in the 2023 class in the 247Sports Composite and the #40 prospect nationally in his class. He named a top 8 on July 13th of Texas, TCU, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Ohio State, LSU, Alabama and Oklahoma State. In June he visited Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, LSU, Alabama and Ohio State. USC also is among his many offers.

Clemson target DT Hero Kanu took an unofficial visit to Notre Dame Thursday. He was at Southern Cal earlier in the week.

Clemson target DT Caden Curry of Greenwood, IN took an unofficial visit to Indiana earlier this week.

DE D’Andre Martin of Durham, NC confirmed Thursday afternoon he had arrived at USC for a three day stay. He was at Virginia Tech Sunday. He will announce for either the Gamecocks or Hokies Sunday on Instagram and Twitter.

USC target DE Tomiwa Durojaiye of Middletown, DE visited Kentucky the past two days. That means he’s seen all of his finalists with a decision set for August 7th. The other finalists are USC, Georgia Tech, West Virginia and Vanderbilt.

USC target WR Jayden Gibson of Winter Garden, FL will visit Georgia Friday and Florida Saturday.

USC offered 2023 WR Ethan Davis (6-5 205) of Suwanee, GA. He’s rated a four-star in the 247Sports Composite and ranked the #15 tight end nationally in the class. Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Ole Miss, UCF, Georgia and Kentucky are some other offers.

2024 WR Cortez Lane (5-11 175) of Camden visited USC Wednesday.

USC and Clemson target 2023 LB Drayk Bowen of Merrillville, IN was offered by Penn State. He visited Notre Dame Tuesday.

USC targets CB Nick Cull and LB Tyler Banks are visiting Ole Miss today.

USC target RB Jaylon Glover is visiting Florida today. The Gators received a commitment Friday night from RB Terrance Gibbs which could help them with Glover who is set to announce on August 6th.

2023 OT Payton Kirkland of Orlando, who has offers from USC and Clemson among others, visited Ohio State Wednesday. He was at Michigan and Michigan State Tuesday.

2023 TE Mac Markway of St. Louis, cousin of former USC TE Kyle Markway, committed to Florida.

Greenville QB Pro Franklin visited Memphis on Thursday.

2023 QB Raheim Jeter of Spartanburg High was offered by West Virginia.

2023 DB Travon West of Wren was offered by West Virginia.

2024 QB Jadyn Davis of Catawba Ridge visited Ohio State Thursday and Tennessee Wednesday,

OT Jackson Hall (6-4 305) of Belton Honea-Path committed to USC as a PWO for the 2022 class.

ATH Michael Mankaka (6-2 180) of Laurens committed to Clemson for 2022 with a PWO offer from receivers coach Tyler Grisham on Wednesday night.

Emerald DT Robby Harrison was offered by Washington State.

USC offered 6-9 Jalen Reed of Oak Hill Academy, VA. He’s rated a 3-star by 247Sport and ranked the #28 power forward nationally. Florida, Houston and Ole Miss are some of his other offers.

USC offered 2024 6-6 Jahki Howard of Norcross, GA. Auburn, Florida, Florida State and Georgetown are some other offers.

6-6 Joshua Ola-Joseph of Osseo, MN was offered by Clemson. Texas A&M, New Mexico and Colorado State are among his other offers.

6-6 Ryan Dunn of Pennsburg, PA was offered by Clemson. He also has an offer from USC and others.

6-5 Brice Sensabaugh of Orlando, who was offered by USC and Clemson, did not include them in his top 8 of Stanford, Vanderbilt, Illinois, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Florida and Alabama.

2023 6-8 Gregory Jackson of Ridge View was offered by Florida State.
