Columbia native and Cardinal Newman graduate 6-2 Chico Carter Jr. is coming home to complete his college career. After two seasons at Murray State, Carter announced Saturday he will transfer to USC where he will have at least three years of eligibility. Carter averaged over 12 points per game last season and developed into an excellent all-around shooter.
He joined just Monday night on SportsTalk to explain why he decided to join Frank Martin’s program and what he hopes to do with the Gamecocks.
