The Clemson football team touched down at Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans late this afternoon after learning offensive coordinator and play-caller Tony Elliott had to be left behind after testing positive for Covid-19. Quarterbacks coach Brandon Streeter will assume the play-calling duties in the booth, and graduate assistant CJ Spiller will take over Elliott’s role coaching the running backs. The Tigers face Ohio State Friday night in the Sugar Bowl, one of the two national semi-final playoff games.
