#Gamecocks fall at #10 Houston 77-67 (AUDIO)

Keyshawn Bryant and the Gamecocks fell at Houston Saturday (Gamecocks Athletics)

A couple of big second half runs by Houston proved to be the difference as he Cougars defeated USC Saturday night 77-67. The 10th ranked Cougars were without head coach Kelvin Sampson, an assistant coach and two starters, all due to Covid. The Gamecocks led by four at halftime. Houston went on a 14-2 run to take a 48-42 lead. The Cougars led 50-49 when they put up a 12-3 run to turn the game their way.

Justin Minaya led the Gamecocks with 13 points. The Gamecocks were outscored by 14 points at the foul line. They also committed 19 turnovers that led to 21 Houston points. The Gamecocks are 1-2 and will host Wofford on Thursday afternoon.
