A second USC target has set Monday for his commitment announcement. LB Navonteque Strong of Mississippi Gulf Coast JC plans to reveal his choice to start off next week. USC was his first SEC offer ahead of MIssissippi State. He also has offers from Colorado, Troy, UAB, Arkansas State, South Alabama, Washington State, Toledo, Memphis, FAU, Louisiana, East Carolina, ULM and UAB. He had 104 tackles with 8.5 sacks last season. The other announcement Monday will come from ATH Raheim Sanders of Rockledge, FL. He’s down to USC, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri and Florida State.
Former USC commitment SAF Demarko Williams of Atlanta said he committed to a school Tuesday and will announce Saturday afternoon around 3:30. USC was in his final five but wasn’t the choice. The others in the top five were Oregon, NC State, Pitt & Ole Miss.
Clemson and USC target DE Dallas Turner of Fort Lauderdale was offered by Notre Dame.
USC target CB Khyree Jackson of East Mississippi JC was offered by Washington State and Tennessee.
USC target RB Caleb McDowell of Leesburg, GA decommitted from NC State.
Clemson offered four-star 2022 OL Julian Armella (6-6 300) of Miami.
