Per GamecockCentral, USC will sign RB ZaQuandre White of Iowa Western JC Wednesday. White committed to USC December 12th but needed to complete academic work before his take by the Gamecocks could be confirmed. White has been at his home in Ft. Myers, FL since December completing the necessary work. White began his career as a LB at Florida State in 2017 but transferred to JC so he could play RB. He’s rated 4-star and the #1 junior college RB in the country.
Tennessee coaches were out in force Tuesday night to watch Northwestern WR Ger-Cari Caldwell and 2021 TE Robbie Ouzts of Rock Hill in a basketball game. Jeremy Pruett, Tee Martin, Chris Weinke and Jim Chaney were on hand. Caldwell took an official visit to UT last weekend and will visit USC this weekend. Ouzts took an unofficial visit to USC last weekend and will visit Virginia Tech this Saturday.
USC offered DB Ryan Barnes of Gaithersburg, MD. He also has offers from Oklahoma, Penn State, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Louisville, Georgia, Maryland, Duke, Pitt, East Carolina and others. He has visited Maryland and Duke and plans to visit Georgia this weekend.
USC offered 2022 LB Kobe McCloud (6-1 208) of Tampa. Some of his other offers are Syracuse, Indiana, Iowa State, Miami, Pitt, Bowling Green and Southern Miss. He’s the brother of former Clemson receiver Ray-Ray McCloud, and another brother Jordan is a quarterback at South Florida.
USC offered 2023 WR Robert Stafford (6-1 175) of Melbourne, FL. He also has offers from Tennessee, Kentucky and UCF.
South Pointe ATH O’Mega Blake was offered by NC State.
Myrtle Beach WR JJ Jones was offered by South Florida. He plans to visit USC this Saturday. He visited North Carolina and Tennessee the last two weekends.
LB Raneiria Dillworth of Kernersville, NC, a USC target, was offered by Oklahoma.
Clemson target DL Payton Page of Greensboro plans to visit North Carolina Saturday. He was at Clemson last Saturday.
Clemson coach Dabo Swinney made a stop to Gonzaga High in Washington, DC Wednesday, home of QB target Caleb Williams. Williams visited Clemson last Saturday.
