Clemson’s spot in the College Football Playoff rankings is unchanged from last week. The Tigers are ranked third behind no. 1 LSU and no. 2 Ohio State in the rankings released Tuesday. Clemson has moved from fifth in the initial rankings up to third after running roughshod over its last several opponents including a 52-3 blowout of Wake Forest. There were no major changes near the top of the rankings as the top seven teams all won and held their spots. The most notable victory was Georgia’s 21-14 win over Auburn. Alabama remained fifth after losing starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to a dislocated hip in its 38-7 victory over Ole Miss.

Clemson is also ranked third in both the AP Poll and the Amway/USA Today Coaches Poll. The Tigers are off this week before squaring off with rival South Carolina at noon in Columbia, Nov. 30th. Clemson is still awaiting its opponent for the ACC Championship game in Charlotte on Dec. 7th. The Coastal division representative will be Virginia, Virginia Tech or Pittsburgh.
