
Dabo Swinney shared his thoughts on Clemson‘s 52-10 victory over Charlotte and upcoming game at North Carolina via teleconference, Sunday. Swinney made it clear he has tremendous respect for Tar Heels head coach Mack Brown and looks forward to competing against “one of the best to ever do it.” Swinney also detailed the way Brown influenced him early in his head coaching tenure and the relationship they’ve enjoyed since. Additionally, Swinney praised North Carolina‘s freshman quarterback, Sam Howell, labeling him a “natural leader with a toughness you like to see.”
Clemson will travel to Chapel Hill, NC, to face the Tar Heels at 3:30 p.m., Saturday. The Tigers are a 28.5-point favorite.
