Clemson had its hands full with Syracuse the last two seasons. The Tigers lost at the Carrier Dome in 2017 and needed a last minute drive orchestrated by backup quarterback Chase Brice to pull out a victory last season. So even though the Orange were splattered by Maryland last weekend, Clemson’s folks are taking nothing for granted. It’s their first road game of the season and its at a place where the home team can play well, especially with a raucous, sold out house.
