
Two weeks in to the regular season, and two lopsided victories on the resume, Clemson remains firmly atop both the AP and coaches football polls for this week. The Tigers earned 56 first place votes this week from the writers and 60 from the coaches. The remaining 9 first place votes between the two polls went to Alabama. Georgia is third in both polls with the AP ranking LSU fourth and Oklahoma fifth. The coaches reverse the four and five spots.
