Lyn-J Dixon is solid as Clemson’s #2 running back (Travis Bell/SIDELINE CAROLINA)

Clemson’s pre-season camp hit a milestone Thursday. The scrimmage inside Death Valley was the final one before the coaching staff turns their attention toward the season opener with Georgia Tech in less than two weeks. The biggest news coming out of the scrimmage was an injury to starting defensive tackle Nyles Pinckney but TigerNet’s David Hood reported the injury does not appear to be serious though Pinckney had to be carted off the field. Following the scrimmage, co-offensive coordinator Tony Elliott and defensive coordinator Brent Venables game their takes.
