For the first time since 1951, footballs are flying around Erskine College. The Flying Fleet will be returning to the gridiron in 2020, so this year is all about building the program for coach Shap Boyd. His first class will report to campus later this month and serve a redshirt season. There are still practice fields, locker and weight rooms and a stadium to be constructed. Their first game for real will be against Catawba College next September.
