Every August we criss-cross the state with the Palmetto Pigskin Tour to visit with all the college football teams not named Clemson and USC. This year’s tour started Tuesday night at South Carolina State where Buddy Pough is back and on target to become the school’s all-time winningest coach. The Bulldogs are coming off a 6-5 season but they did win four of their final five games, so there is a lot of optimism going into 2019.
