Bryce McGowens

One of the state’s top basketball prospects in the 2021 class, 6-5 Bryce McGowens, will transfer from Wren to Lincoln Academy in Winston-Salem, NC his new school announced Wednesday. Lincoln Academy is a Nike Elite basketball program with former Furman coach Larry Davis serving as the head coach. McGowens has offers from Clemson, USC, LSU, Nebraska, Providence, Pitt, Florida, Xavier, TCU, Wichita State and others.

6-3 Angel Reese of Baltimore has set an official visit with the USC Women for October 4th. She also has officials set with Maryland, Tennessee, Southern Cal and Syracuse leading up to the USC visit. ESPN HoopGurlz ranks her #2 in the country for the 2020 class.

6-2 Deuce Dean of York Prep committed to Hampton for the 2019 class.

Byrnes DB Buddy Mack plans to visit West Virginia Thursday.
