Clemson safety Tanner Muse and guard John Simpson joined Dabo Swinney Wednesday in Charlotte at the ACC Kickoff. Muse is entering his senior season with the Tigers and is expected to be one of the team’s defensive leaders while Simpson is anchoring an offensive line absorbing the loss of Mitch Hyatt.
Since Muse was last on the field winning his second national championship, his brother Nick transferred from William & Mary to Clemson rival South Carolina. Nick plays tight end and Tanner addresses what it might be like to collide with his brother across the middle of the field.
Simpson offers his thoughts on Coach Swinney’s assertion that quarterback Trevor Lawrence should break the pocket more often and what it’s like going against Clemson’s defensive lines in practice.
