Tavien Feaster

Clemson RB Tavien Feaster, who has his name in the transfer portal, will visit Virginia Tech according to VTScoop, Virginia Tech’s 247Sports site. The report did not quote Feaster, but Feaster did tell SportsTalkSC.com earlier this month that Virginia Tech was one of the schools to contact him. He’s also heard from USC, Alabama, East Carolina, Oklahoma and Texas. Feaster is in summer school at Clemson and has a heavy class load to complete to be able to graduate, a source with knowledge of his situation told SportsTalkSC.com last week. Feaster said this month he fully intends to graduate this summer, but if he’s not able to complete the academic work, he would have the option of withdrawing from the portal and remaining at Clemson, with Dabo Swinney’s approval. Or, he could still transfer as a non-graduate but only to a lower division program if he wants to play in 2019.

USC OL commitment Issiah Walker of Miami has set his official visit with the Gamecocks for this weekend. Walker has been committed to the Gamecocks for over a year but has remained very active on the recruiting trail. He has taken unofficial visits to Miami, Florida, Florida State and UCF. Despite those other visits, he has maintained his commitment status with the Gamecocks.

WR Jaheim Bell of Valdosta, GA has set an official visit to USC June 7th. He committed to Florida in April.

TE Blake Smith of Dallas, TX, who had an offer from USC, did not include the Gamecocks in his top 10.

Gray Collegiate QB Hunter Helms was offered by Charleston Southern.

According to Mike Gillespie of WOLO TV in Columbia, former Hammond and North Carolina guard Seventh Woods has a decision and will announce next week for USC, Michigan or Gonzaga.
