A year ago at this time the bats and balls and gloves of the USC baseball team were put away after the team failed to make the NCAA Tournament. And after losing to Presbyterian at home April 17th to fall to 20-17, it appeared the Gamecocks would be at home again this June. But they got healthy to some degree and won 13 of their last 20 games to earn the #2 seed for the Greenville, NC regional starting Friday. Tuesday coach Mark Kingston and several players reviewed the season and looked ahead to Friday’s games with Ohio State.
