OL Jakai Moore of Nokesville, VA already has taken an official visit to USC and now Clemson could see him down the road. The Tigers are his latest offer with offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell getting that word to him on Thursday.
“I talked to Coach Caldwell today and then he talked to my coach and said he was offering me,” Moore said. “I’ve been hearing from them pretty often. They’ve been talking to me for awhile. He likes my aggressiveness and he just likes my style of play.”
Moore has not yet visited Clemson but he plans to at some point to learn more about the day to day operations of the program.
“Shoot, I mean, everybody knows about Clemson,” Moore said. “Clemson is a top four school in the nation. The thing is, it’s not just one year, it’s every year. That’s big time.”
USC has been his only official visit to date and he has no others scheduled at this point. Like his counterpart at Clemson, USC offensive line coach Eric Wolford likes Moore a lot and he’s been working him hard as well.
“Coach Wolford is talking to me every day, contacting me. Coach Muschamp is contacting me all the time,” said Moore. “I like South Carolina a lot. I don’t really have a top list but coaches that have been talking to me a lot are from Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, Virginia and Boston College.”
Along with Clemson, Moore also has recent offers from UCF and Pitt.
He plans to be a December signee but not an early enrollee.
