The Clemson Athletic Department held the first stop of its annual Prowl and Growl caravan featuring football coach Dabo Swinney and basketball coach Brad Brownell.
Swinney’s Tigers concluded Spring practice last Saturday, and he along with his coaching staff are in the process of evaluating the team’s progress as they prepare for Summer workouts.
The biggest question on the minds of Clemson fans continues to be the quarterback battle between Kelly Bryant, Trevor Lawrence, Hunter Johnson & Chase Brice.
Despite the uncertainty of who will run out first against Furman on September 2nd, Swinney says it’s a good problem to have.
Brownell and the basketball Tigers are also in offseason evaluation mode following their appearance in the Sweet 16 against Kansas.
Clemson’s coach said he would ideally like to add one or two more players depending on status of Shelton Mitchell & Marcquise Reed and their NBA Draft evaluations.
He also added he’s noticed a difference in the interest in his program with the increased level of success that took place last season.
