The Clemson Tigers have less than ten days and four practices remaining before their Spring Game and things are looking sharp.
The Tigers ran about 70 plays including some one-on-one drills to start practice, continuing to develop the depth with their third-team offense and defense.
The biggest story around Clemson remains the intense competition between to the four scholarship quarterbacks. Wide receiver Hunter Renfrow spoke about watching all four so far this Spring:
When the Tigers last took the field before Easter, defensive coordinator Brent Venables took his unit to task for inconsistent play and the offense taking advantage of defensive miscues. Defensive lineman Austin Bryant believes Clemson defense showed better on Wednesday:
While those who have seen practice have waxed poetic about Clemson’s abundance of talent, Head Coach Dabo Swinney still has some things he wants to see before the Tigers break camp a week from Saturday:
Clemson will hold one practice Friday before holding another half-scrimmage on Monday. The Tigers will use their penultimate practice Wednesday to prepare them for Summer drills and conclude with the Spring Game on Saturday, April 14th.
