Clemson Tigers Head Coach Brad Brownell appeared relaxed Tuesday in advance of Clemson’s trip to Omaha to face Kansas in the Sweet 16.
The Tigers played nearly flawless basketball in San Diego in their two wins over New Mexico State and Auburn, winning by a combined total of 52 points.
Clemson used Gabe DeVoe’s 22 points per game and Elijah Thomas achieved a double-double in Sunday’s win over Auburn.
Kansas and Clemson have never met before in basketball, and Brad Brownell enters an Omaha regional with lots of star power in the coaching ranks with Bill Self and ACC colleagues Mike Krzyzewski and Jim Boeheim.
Brownell says he and the Tigers won’t be too big for the moment:
Clemson and Kansas meet at 7:07 ET Friday in Omaha in a game televised on CBS. The winner will face either Duke or Syracuse.
